The Fenwal 01-180020-308 Thermoswitch is a strut-and-tube type thermostat that operates on the principle of differential expansion between the outer shell and the inner strut assembly. It ranges from -100°F (-73°C) and as high as 500°F (260°C) that opens on the rise. The shell and head are manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel, and has a coupling head type. The thermoswitch has an 8" wire lead and a locking temperature restraining device.  As an unpowered mechanical temperature controller, the Thermoswitch has found wide acceptance in diverse applications requiring fast response, close control, extreme sensitivity and vibration resistance.
