The 084Z3031 (MBT5250) is a temperature sensor that has a 1/2-14" NPT process connection size made of stainless steel. It has a -58°F to 392°F (-50°C to 200°C) measuring temperature range with 257°F (125°C) maximum ambient temperature.

The temperature sensor is suitable for heating, marine, and industrial applications such as regulating cooling water, lubrication oil, hydraulic oil, and refrigeration plants. The unit features a Pt 1000 sensor element that provides precise temperature measurement.

The 084Z3031 is easy to install with an IP65 enclosure rating for added protection and an interchangeable measuring insert for quick maintenance.

I am being asked for the PT100 version of this item. Under part number 084z3031 its says you can get PT100 OR PT1000. How do I get PT100?

The 084Z3031 is indeed a PT1000 so it is not the one you would want. There are several PT100 versions in this series, however they vary slightly from the 084Z3031, so you will need to know the specs that you are looking for, or that may work in your application.
The 084Z3031 is 1.97" insertion length and has a connection size of 1/2"-14 NPT

Here are the PT100 versions that most closely resemble the specs of the 084Z3031:
084Z8011 1.97" insertion length and has a connection size of 1/2"
084Z8019 3.15" insertion length and has a connection size of 1/2"-14 NPT

So if you know the insertion length and connection size we can narrow it down if neither of these will work for you.
