The Automated Logic ALC/2"M316 is a 2" Thermowell made of machined 316 stainless steel.

Thermowells are hollow tubes mounted on pipes to protect Immersion Probe Temperature Sensors to be not directly in contact with pipe contents. Installed permanently to pipes and the BAPI-Box Immersion Probe Temperature Sensors are inserted into the Thermowell to measure the temperature pipe contents.

Available in 304 stainless steel (machined), 316 stainless steel (machined), brass (machined), and two-part (welded) 304 stainless steel. These materials do provide satisfactory corrosion resistance but when selecting you must consider the material and strength depending on the application.
